This my part of 's calendar collaboration.
I took July. So this is kinda what July looks like around here I guess. The image is based on a park in my neighborhood. Yes, people do sunbath in this park. That is what makes it so great :D

This thing took forever. I didn't use any direct references. I would have loved to go out and draw the area in person but the weather wasn't permitting (it is Seattle). So I just walked around and tried to remember what I could.

There seems to be to much focus on the background, but I'm calling this thing done.

Pencil, Photoshop, 8"x11" 300DPI.

came it really awesome! i love the details you put in on the houses in the BG! no real reference? wow thats pretty good especially for her pose. and the texture on the trees and leaves are so cool too!
